FAQ: How do I get Instant Debugging to work?

Step 1: Edit your main.cs file in the very root of your Torque directory.  This is the main.cs file which Torque executes first.

Add the dbgSetParameters line as the very first line of the file:




Step 2: In your project, right-click on your project name and select properties:




Step 3: Set all the parameters accordingly (remember to set Enable Debugging to True when you've set all the parameters):




Step 4: The debug menu should now be available:




Note that debugging will only work with the Enhanced TelnetDebugger by Tom Spilman.  It may still work without it, but not guaranteed to do so properly.
